 Welcome to the St Ann Chamber of Commerce’s website.  This site was established in 1999 and has recently been updated.

The St Ann Chamber of Commerce has a diverse and growing membership consisting of retailers, hotels, financial institutions, professionals, restaurants, tours, attractions, security companies, construction firms, other tourism related entities and private members.

The majority of our businesses are dependent, either directly or indirectly, on tourism centered on the town of Ocho Rios.   In addition to world-class hotels, villas and cruise ship port facilities, St Ann has the widest diversity of attractions of any resort in Jamaica and arguably the Caribbean.  The most famous of all is Dunn’s River Falls but we also offer visitors other unique tours of our other rivers, coastline, botanical gardens, plantations and historical sites.

St. Ann is strategically located in the middle of Jamaica’s north coast almost equidistant from the island’s two major cities, Kingston and Montego Bay.   There are presently two major highway projects in various stages of planning that seek to link Ocho Rios with even easier access to these two hubs.

Opportunities exist in the formation of new tours to accommodate the increasing number of cruise ship visitors, housing for the ever-growing number of people that seek to migrate to the St Ann area and other industries like agriculture and education that support our tourism product.

The St Ann Chamber of Commerce is an active group that is supported by a loyal staff and strategic partners in the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association, the Coastal Water Improvement Project and the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association.
